The launch
The rockets the kids would build ended up being too small to carry my device into
the air, so I spend some time to build my own quick-and-dirty model from
some leftover cartboard:
The acceleration logger would be stuffed into the nose-cone, but that didn't have
a parachute, so it'd come down without anything to lower the speed of inpact.
Finally, after all the kids' rockets had been launced, the one I made was
ignited:
And after some frantic searching by some of the kids, the nosecone was retrieved
fully intact!
